About Me:
Caroline Alexander is the founder of Alexander Research and Consulting. She has over 20 years of experience in the private and nonprofit sectors in strategic planning, management consulting, community engagement, and public and corporate finance. She specializes in creative strategy development, qualitative and quantitative research, and insightful data analytics with a focus on community, economic, and workforce development.
Since founding Alexander Research and Consulting, Caroline has led multiple studies to inform initiatives related to the alignment of workforce, education, and industry, including work for Texas 2036, T.L.L Temple Foundation, H.E. Butt Foundation, and Austin Community College. She has also served as an implementation partner for Workforce Solutions North Central Texas and a research partner for CareerSource Tampa Bay, the Tampa Bay Partnership, and Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, she led consulting projects across the country with TIP Strategies, an economic and workforce strategy consulting firm. The engagements included strategic plans, labor analyses, target industry analyses, and entrepreneurship assessments. As the project manager for TIP’s workforce-related projects, her experience included regional alignment strategies in Tampa, Houston, Austin, and Fort Collins (CO) as well as workforce assessments and labor analyses for the Borderplex Alliance (El Paso, TX), and South Carolina I-77 Alliance.
Caroline has a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina.
